Threnody.

I know, i know, i havent actually been blogging for a long time...but yes i've been rather busy and now i'm just snatching enough time to blog. So what have i been doing over the past week?

I've been working on a band piece which may be premiered by CHSSB (catholic high school symphony band) on the 7th august for their annual concert, of which this time round it'd be held at the Esplanade :D the esplanade invited them so they dun have to pay a single cent for the rental of the hall and logistics haha. About the new piece...its officially called 'Threnody' though its full name would be 'Threnody in memory of Thaddeus Cheong'. a threnody is a sort of requiem, or a song of mourning and celebration of the deceased's life. Slept very little during those nights...

Also went for CHMA07, the supposed highlight of iMedia's concerts of the year. Nothing much to say, just that it was great but the audience was not that lively this year as compared to the previous years...

Anyway school is starting for me finally on the 23rd July which is less than two weeks away...quite looking forward to it actually. I'll sign off for half a year again when this month comes to an end, so i can really focus on my studies and not be bothered by people complaining that i didnt blog haha. When the hols start again i'll start up the blog again...anyway it'll just be left stagnant so u ppl can continue to use the links...if u ever do haha.
