Holidays again.

What can i say? a near two-month holiday is here again.

In this half a year so much has happened...assignments, stress, new compositions, old ones revised, concerts, performances, getting to know and work with new people and musicians, found true love and so much more...every single day is said to be the present, and it is! Did well for exams too.

I've been more and more immersed into central javanese gamelan these days...much to most of ur disapproval i suppose hehe. My life is...erm...pretty boring compared to so many of yours? oh well. Especially since i've stopped gaming since sec 3 ahaha.lost the interest for it that time.

And oh i just cant help feeling a tinge of sadness and fulfilment (how ironical isnt it??) that most of my secondary school friends of the same batch have finished the much dreaded A levels...and juniors have completed their equally dreaded O levels...congratulations to all then! You all deserve a pat on your back. As for the sadness...cant help but to feel that as i chose not to take the A level path (no regrets though) and my friends have gone through a stage which i will never experience nor be able to share their sentiments...oh well the next stage for them now is ENLISTING IN NS aka serving the nation in a military manner erhem. seems strange that their enlistment dates range from late november to late april...does the all mysterious system really choose such dates at random?? As for me i'll only enlist in mid 2009 after my diploma course is complete...

Oh well something to look forward to. i'm currently joining Singa Nglaras Gamelan Ensemble (NUS's gamelan) for rehearsals; we're performing at some function at Shangri-la hotel (however u spell it...) for which the guest of honour is none other than Lee Kuan Yew...that's 7th january.

For now...until my life gets a little more interesting...that'll be it for the day. hehe. Enjoy your holidays too! :D
