Not-So-Boring Days.

Continuing from the last serious post about how the ‘days of door slamming and screaming are over’…teachers and lecturers these days are becoming more funny too. They’re human after all. Quoting from Nicol Ngiam’s post (he’s teaching temporarily at Catholic High School)…this is what happened in the staff room…

“Student: Good morning teachers, may i see Miss Tan please?
Teachers: She's not in the staff room..
Student: May i leave something on her desk?
Teachers: Leave what? Bomb ah?”

I had my own encounter too…when I went out of the lift at the 5th floor of NAFA music department…Doctor Goh came in and I was going out.

Dr Goh: (hands over a small cardboard box)
Me: What’s inside?
Dr Goh: Bomb Lor! (Grins)

And the lift door closed. Inside the box was a full durian puff (one left out of six) with real durian cream…how nice of him…

Sheesh. Well at least it makes school life less boring…
