New and Old.

I went for the Philharmonic Winds concert yesterday at the esplanade with Rekkha, partially because i got a complimentary ticket from my teacher, Doktor Goh (who was premiering his new piece with them that night) and partially to see Timothy Reynish, a great guest American conductor in action! And when i stepped out of City Hall MRT guess who i saw...

YANG BIN!

in case you don't know, he was my trombone senior in band while we were in Catholic High, and he was a great role model. He's now studying in America..Pittsburgh..if i didn't spell it wrongly...and he won't be coming back to Singapore much in the future. He's here for a sorta 10 day holiday and meet up with old friends? I did want to meet him when he posted his holiday announcement on Facebook but well i did...coincidentally. I took a photo with Yang Bin Superstar! lol. He was with aik tong and jasper...so i took a photo of him with them too.

i doubt i'll ever see yang bin again...but who knows? its a small world. haha.

i took the photo with my phone camera...abit grainy...since the four of us didn't have a camera with us at all! and since we're talking about phone cameras...Teow Kwang came over to my house today to lend me a USB cable that allows me to transfer stuff from my phone to the comp (yes i actually do not have one of those things) and i transferred all the old photos i took with it...into my computer! and hey i'm gonna share it here for fun...though mostly outdated :p
