woah hey sorry it's almost a week since i posted!

I've been practising on my electone, and been working on two new compositions too...one of it is a band piece highlighting childhood fears and horrors, and another is a piece for woodwind, brass and string quintets plus piano and percussion, which plays music set to Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous speech for the rights of the Black people. it's been a rewarding experience...

It's been rather uneventful, but i think this week's abit better. I'll be going out for dinner on friday nite with Wenjie, going back to my alma mater, Catholic High School on saturday for CHS Homecoming Day! Hoping to meet alot of old friends and juniors there...and on Sunday Nite i'm gonna watch ACJC band perform at Singapore Conference Hall...hope they'll put up a good show...

Oh yes last friday i met up with Xin Wei (got to know him from the NUS Thai Music Ensemble) for dinner at Fish and Co. (and no, i don't cam whore food pics sorry :D), and also to get my Thai Klui! Klui = flutes. He went to thailand to buy himself a sau-duang (a kind of thai erhu) and so i got him to get thai klui for me too! Actually i asked him to buy me a middle ranged one and a high ranged one...he bought wrongly...both middle ranged...one PVC and one bamboo. oh well. haha. Can't blame him...i enjoy playing the flutes very much! Thanks Xin Wei <3
