Yes a week since the last update. Promised that I’ll update every week right? Hehe.
Last Friday: had sight reading session with CHSSB (Catholic High School Symphony Band that is.) for a new piece of mine, ‘Threnody’. Mr Leonard Tan (one of sg’s band gods) will be conducting it for CHSSB’s annual concert ‘Aesthetique’ in May. Be sure to come and watch! :D
Well school has finally started for me yesterday…2nd half of my 2nd year in NAFA. Life’s more hectic than ever, with three new subjects: Orchestration, Composition IA and Concert Band Training and Direction…for the latter Mr Leonard Tan is the new lecturer for the subject! Hehe isn’t that great…loads of experience and knowledge! Orchestra has a huge project…a performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony together with the combined Chorus of NAFA and its Chamber Choir. I’m in the orchestra by the way…bass trombone again. Hehe.
